How to Acquire Parental Responsibility
Unmarried Fathers:
- By jointly registering the birth with the mother.
- Through a Parental Responsibility agreement with the mother.
- By obtaining a Parental Responsibility order from the court.
Non-Civil Partners:
- By jointly registering the birth or becoming civil partners.
- Through Parental Agreements or court applications if not listed on the birth certificate.
Duties Under the Law
